More Myth

Days after the loss of my music tracks , I sat down at the computer to try to recreate some of the work I'd done only to find myself with a total blank when it came to wanting to do the work. It is like been burned for the first time, you do not want to go near the fire. But I will return to the work because it is a passion I have held for decades, no matter what happens in life, music never deserts me. I have to say it has seen me through some really tough times.

Shrug it off and start again...something like that. So I am going to walk around clutching my ever present micro cassette listening out for sounds to sample as I clear the decks and think about what I want the next project to sound like.

In the meantime I am not going to write a note for the next few weeks in order to get over the loss and focus my thoughts, may even have to watch some television...no hang on, there are always books to read and Kiwi TV sucks.

Listening to:

Penetration
Pauline Murray & the invisible girls

David,
Try to think of the lost music as the training ground from which emerged even better musical compositions. In this sense the material that disappeared will, indirectly, prove its worth in the end.
