Sad news that Hunter S Thompson took his own life on Sunday.
I am sure he had his reason for doing so, the only surprise to me been that he lasted this long given his chosen lifestyle.
As the inventor of Gonzo Journalism, he has left his footprint here, but it was his ability to make me laugh & cry out loud that I will always be grateful for.
Truly one of life’s great eccentrics in these PC oppressive times.
