There is a very large chain of clothing stores in Australia, who are in every Mall. They stock designer clothing by one of my clients, who wanted me to arrange an uplift of 10 or so consignments for return to NZ..
“ No worries “ I said, “All I need are the contact names & telephone numbers for the stores involved “.
There was a silence, the kind where you know there is going to be bad stuff when it ends.
“ They wouldn’t give me the contact numbers or names for the stores” explained my client.
Before I could respond she delivered the Cou de Grace with this finishing touch:
“They want you to call them before your courier picks up the goods“
