I was at the Kings Arms, Heath Common, for dinner & beer last night. I have to say it has been a long time since I graced it's doors & apart from a few cosmetic alterations, it was refreshing to see it has not changed all that much. It still has great food & excellent service, I left feeling very full indeed. The bar was brilliantly stocked with around twelve real ales which made it difficult to sample all of them, but I did try !
Osset brewery's beer & local Wakefield brewery Clarke's were my faves, but there just was not enough time to try them all. It was a perfect evening, out with a gang of good friends all talking at, over & with each other. What more could you want ?
