Yesterday was Speck's sixteenth birthday & the first one I have missed. Somehow talking on the phone & on Skype was not the same. She recieved her gift on the day, which was good timing on the Post Offices part & will be having friends over this weekend.
Hard to believe that it has been sixteen years ! It has been rewarding watching her progress from a baby girl to a clever, spirited, young lady, despite the problems along the way.
I cannot wait to see both her & lunchbox at the end of the year.
