This piece is by Dean Buchanan & is located on the Henderson air bridge. It really looks good in the summertime & also prevents you from seeing a rather boring side of the local shopping mall.
Yes. For public art, this deserves a big thumbs up. It seems so NZ too - a bit of Maori there, a bit of sub-tropical colour, a bit of the relative emptiness of NZ.
