I was saddened to read about the death of Tony Wilson over the weekend.
He was infuriating, entertaining & informative in just about equal doses.
He had a nose for music though, discovering and nurturing some amazing bands such as Joy Division & later The Happy Mondays. If you need to get a good idea of what Tony was like, I recommend strongly watching 24 hour party people & if it is available choosing to listen to his commentary on the soundtrack.
