The 32nd America's cup finished in dramatic style with a win to Alinghi, giving them victory in the best of nine final. Team New Zealand fought bravely to come back from a penalty only to cross the finish line 1 second behind the Swiss team.
For a nation of only 4 million people it has been an incredible achievement for Team New Zealand to win the challenger series & treat the fans to a thrilling final.
Good on the guys for giving it their best, they can come home with their heads held high.
