Well the storm hit us around Lunchtime yesterday, as predicted there was flooding, downed powerlines,lost roofs & fallen tree's.
The journey home took 1.5 hours about 3 times as long as normal. Traffic lights were out everywhere & the rain made it impossible to see the car in front at times.
When I arrived back home the power was out, not much fun when EVERYTHING works on electricity. The power finally came back on at 09.30 pm. Lights ! Hot food ! Drinks !
