Up early yesterday morning for the drive to Manchester airport, time spent nervously watching the arrivals board & then there she was ! I have to say that the dust at the airport made my eyes water!
After a long emotional hug it was then the return journey back to Yorkshire for Speck to meet her Grandmother who she has not seen for 5 years, more emotional hugs & then time to let her get used to us all.
Last night we went out for dinner before the end of the meal the jet lag kicked in, so we finished early & Speck hit the hay at around 9pm.
Today we have sight seeing planned but first Sunday Lunch with Mum, Yorkshire puddings and all...
