LABOUR

Spent the entire day learning the regulations for transporting ships stores across the USA & UK. Now that has got to hurt, still there are worse things I could be doing with my working time. I have to admit that I do enjoy working in freight for exactly this reason….You are constantly learning new things. In all the time I have been at this job I can say that I have never looked at the clock once with that despair that I used to in previous industries.

Something about moving large pieces of freight,, from A to B across the world & communicating daily with colleagues in other countries, is just brilliant. I especially like the days when the challenge is to ship something we have never carried before, to a place we have never delivered before. It pushes you to think outside of the box on a daily basis which I appreciate. Oh well back to my reading….
